Raw Material for manufacture of AAC, ACSR , ACAR and other High Conductivity Conductors, ABC and Underground Cables.
Raw Material for manufacture of AAAC, ACAR & AACSR and other High Strength Conductors.
6201, Aluminium Alloy and other types of alloys as per customer specification are rolled, drawn and stranded together in various configurations. ( From 7 to 61 strands ). AAAC are used for transmission, distribution and rural electrification. Specially suitable for corrosion prone areas, hilly areas..
1350, Aluminium alloy (also known as EC grade aluminium alloy) Conductors are used in urban aeas where spans are usuallly short.
6201, Aluminium wires with a suitable steel core is preferred conductor for very long spans..
Is a steel core Aluminium conductor widely used for transmission and distribution lines.
• High conductivity conductors (up to 59% IACS)
• High Temperature Low Sag (HTLS) conductors which can operate upto 230°C, mainly used for uprating of existing lines.
• Anti Vibration / Self damping Conductors
• Messenger conductors for ABC .
• Alloy ground wire
• Alloy tie wires
• Aluminium alloy rods / wires for preformed wire products
( Armour rods, helical fittings etc..)
• 6.3mm diameter 6201 Alloy Redraw Rods in T4 condition for
manufacture of AAAC.
These are ready to use raw material for manufacture of rivets, bolts, nuts, screws, hangers etc..
For efficient conversion of Aluminium ingots into Rod and Conductors..
ALL ALUMINUM ALLOY CONDUCTORS (AAAC)
• Good Conductivity
• Higher creep reisistance
• Compatible thermal stability
• Easy to repair, splice and dead end
• Better abrasion resistance to resist damage during handling and erection
• Excellent corrosion resistance specially in urban, industrial and marine environment
• Reduced technical losses even with higher current carrying capacity
• Freedom from bimetallic corrosion
• Higher strength to weight ration
• Deterrant for theft
• Longer service life
ALUMINUM ALLOY CONDUCTOR STEEL REINFORCED (AACSR)
• High Tensile Strength
• Suitable for longer spans and river / valley crossings..
AVANTAGES OF HIGH CONDUCTIVITY
(AL 59) CONDUCTORS OVER ACSR AND AAAC
• For Transmisssion lines these enable higher power transfer capacity for the same temperature rise
• The ultimate sag of Al 59 Alloy Conductors is low compared to ACSR conductor for equal span and
operating temperature rise
• These conductors can operate at hgh temperatures upto 230°C without affecting physical properties.
• Mostly used for uprating of the existing lines with ROW constraints.
